1) Gowanus Bridges Bike Tour – December 3rd, 2011

718 Cyclery will take you on a tour of the unique bridges of Gowanus. Each bridge is like over 100 years old and still in use! (One these bridges is the oldest oldest suspension bridge in the United States). The tour takes about 2 hours and is $25 if you use your own bike and $35 if you need to borrow one. Sign Up Here

2) Gowanas Canal Conservancy’s Winter Festival at Build It Green – December 3rd, 2011

Dinner, Beer, and Bands! You really can’t beat those three things and the Gowanus Canal Conservancy’s Winter Festival totally has them all. Dinner will be a three-course meal by local favorite Lot 2.  Playing at this festivity are The Suzan, Savior Adore, and the Ambassadors with beer provided by: Captain Lawrence, Butternuts, and 12%. Your ticket purchase will go to help fund the Gowanus Canal Conservancy. Dinner & Music is $40 and if you just want to catch the bands it’s $15. Buy your tickets here

3) Brush Bot Class at Gowanus Studio Space – December 4th, 2011

This is the best thing in the world if you are 8-10 years old or have a kid that age. Your kid will learn to build an awesome Brush Bot. The class includes the material to make said Brush Bot. Your kid will work with other kids and learn about exciting things like motors and circuits! (We really wish we were 8-10 years old) Tickets are $50. Grab Your Ticket Here
