    All levels of experience are welcome for our figure drawing class!

    Open Figure Drawing and Painting
    $12 for drop-in
    $80 for 10 sessions

    Mondays: 7:00-10:00pm
    series of short poses, and wine

    Wednesdays: 7:00-10:00pm
    first Wednesday of the month has 20 min sessions; The remaining Wednesdays have one three hour pose same pose, and wine

    Saturdays: 12:00-3:00pm
    one three-hour pose

    Bring drawing/painting supplies. BAG provides easels, tables, and drawing boards.

    In this one day workshop, writer Zane Grant (author of We Will Bury You) and artist Deepak Ananthapadmanabha will give a crash course in the world of graphic novels. Learn how to think in terms of sequential art, plan your artwork, and weave a compelling narrative into the images. We will also touch on pitching your work to publishers, and discuss what it means to be a professional cartoonist. You may not leave with a finished novel, but you will understand how to tackle one on your own.

    Put Andy Warhol to shame! In this 6-hour intensive workshop, learn how to make your own silkscreening set-up that can run right off your kitchen table. Through the process of designing and printing a t-shirt, you will learn how to build a screen, prepare your image, and make your print from start to finish. Let us guide you through this notoriously tricky medium, so that you can print with confidence for all your future rockstar needs (…actual rock band optional).

    Artists constantly need to document their work for websites, galleries, submissions, and portfolios – but rarely know how to do so properly. In this one-day workshop, learn to light your work professionally and take clear, accurate photographs of your work. Students should bring their own cameras and have a good working knowledge of them – for those whose skills are more basic, an optional hour before the class will bring you up to speed.
