Learn the basics of sewing, beginning with stitching, basic machine functions, and reading a pattern. Students will learn techniques by constructing a piece of their choice: a tote bag, an apron, or a cosmetic bag. Techniques covered will include cutting, pinning, machine sewing, hand stitching, and simple pattern making.
No sewing skills are required.
