Patch.com reports that the new proposal from the Lightstone Group at 363-365 Bond St. (an old Toll Brothers property & part of the land used during the summer for the hipster dance party Gowanus Grove) will most likely get little input from local officials. Lightstone Group can avoid a public review (thus no local officials) if they only make ‘minor’ change to the original ‘approved’ Toll Brothers design. Lightstones current design calls for 700 residents units and tall building that will overlook the Gowanus Canal and pretty much all of South Brooklyn. See the full details from Patch.com here.
The crack between two hipster neighborhoods, home to the now superfunded Canal, the flash point for the new 'Buy Local' and textile revolutions, & filled with brilliant bohemians. . . this is Gowanus & it’ll awesome your face off.
